Typical vanilla nose and flavor Chardonnay. It is more expressive in the nose than in the taste as there is not much complexity in the mouth.

Chardonnay Clos du Bois 2002 Sonoma County

I have good memories for this wine as this was the first wine posted on this blog here. I was interested in the development of the wine and from the last tasting notes posted almost exactly one year ago there is almost no development so I will not reproduce them, rather link them here. Overall I have one more bottle in the cellar and I will drink it this autumn for sure.

Herbarium Moravicum Ryzlink Vlašský 2006 pozdní sběr (Mikulov, lot: 310701001)

3rd bottle of this wine tasted. I was really looking forward to opening this bottle of wine as I remember tasting it several times in the past and was curious of the potential development from the last tasting in May this year. The tasting notes are almost identical as well as the scoring so I will not reproduce them, but rather include the link here. MVZ is the owner of Mikros and as the wines comes from Mikulov it could be from the same vineyards used for Mikros and EGO row.

As this was not so complex when tasted more than one and half year ago here (you can refer there for picture of the bottle), it did not really develop in the bottle as Welsh Riesling can do very nicely.
