Very nice concentrated Dornfelder with huge fruit both in the nose and taste .
 

Judeka Nero 100 Nero d' Avola Sicilia 2008 IGT

Tesco Finest Chianti Riserva 2009 DOCG

Variety: Sangiovese

Country of origin: Italy
Wine appellation: Tuscany, Chianti
Vintage: 2007
Alcohol content: 13.0%
Color: medium red
Bouquet: cherries, nicely accompanied by wood and vanilla tones
Taste: medium body,  sour cherries, hint of plums, good acidity nicely combined with vanilla and wood,   good tannins, medium to longer finish
Recommended food pairing: lamb cutlet
Overall score: 4+8+11+6+6=85

In May 2011 I tasted the same wine but 2007 vintage. This bottle when compared to Piccini Chianti Superiore from the same year tasted just before is better it has more wood and vanilla character. 

Quattrocchi Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 2006

2nd bottle of this wine tasted. Despite the wine being one year older and plastic cork stopper when looking at my tasting notes from February 2013 the wine did not change significantly, however it is probably on its decline. One more bottle to be finished soon.

Piccini Chianti Superiore 2009 DOCG

Variety: Sangiovese, Merlot

Country of origin: Italy
Wine appellation: Tuscany
Vintage: 2009 
Alcohol content: 13.0%
Color: medium red with lighter meniscus
Bouquet: not very expressive, red cherries, hint of spice ad wood tones
Taste: medium body, red cherries, and sour cherries, slightly higher but pleasant tannins, nice acidity keeping it fresh and visible dryness, medium finish
Recommended food pairing: pizza
Overall score: 4+7+10+5+5=81
Price: CZK 159
Stopper: cork
Basic Chianti, good food wine to accompany our Pizza we had with this bottle.

Very nice Good bottle maturity Carmenere. Less complex than reserva from the same producer tasted 2 weeks ago, but very nice.

Excellent mineral and bottle matured  Burgundy blend, nose and taste reminds me old Mikrosvin Mikulov wines.
