Aged and less sweet Riesling one would expect from the nose and color. Also taste is not as complex as nose would suggest.

Variety: Rhine Riesling

Bouquet: aged, herby, dry lemon peal, benzin
Taste: medium body, very round, less zesty, lower acidity and more herby and oily tones, medium finish

This Riesling it seems to be already past its peak, please compare to Riesling from the same producer, same vintage, but different vineyard tasted in September 2011 here.
 

Bc.Luděk Vondrák Ryzlink rýnský 2007 pozdní sběr

We opened this bottle a week ago and it was refermenting and  it was slightly sparkling. As such I opened the last bottle to check whether OK and it was fine. So faulty was the only bottle out of 3 I had.Tasting notes of the last one are identical to ones from September 2012.

Vinzavod Assenovgrad Assena 2002

Overall impression is well balanced wine with potential for further ageing. It has a great balance across fruit, tannins and acidity to ensure further ageing. Luckily, I have a few more bottles in my cellar.

Saint Clair Family Estate Vicar's Choice Riesling 2007

Taste: medium body, very good structure between the acidity and the fruit, lime, and still perfect bottle maturity. Medium to longer finish.

Zesty, pleasant and perfectly aged Riesling.

Sonberk 2006 Ryzlink rýnský

Taste: medium body, very lively, excellent lime acidity balanced properly with a hint of residual sugar, visible minerality and zesty. Longer finish.

Overall impression: Considering the age, I love this wine. It has an excellent balance between the acidity and bottle maturity. Perfect zestiness overall.

Lovico Suhindol 1994 Balkan Crest Cabernet Sauvignon

Overall impression is excellent aged Cab Sav which wonderful drying tannins in the mouth.
