Third sample, disturbing wine, extreme tannins, untypical taste for pinot noir.

Stapleton & Springer Pinot Noir Čtvrtě 2012

Variety: 100 % Pinot Noir

Color: medium red with slightly violet hue
Bouquet: expressive, sour cherries, good fruit combined with slight vanilla
Taste: medium body, round, vanilla, creamy, sour cherries, medium tannins, good acidity, medium to longer finish
Overall score: 4+8+12+6+7=87

Stopper: single piece cork
Second sample, quite different from the first, more expressive in the nose, however rounder and more creamy and vanilla in the taste with good fruit and acidity. Bottle is still unlabeled as it was recently bottled.

Stapleton & Springer Pinot Noir Rouci 2012

Variety: 100 % Pinot Noir

Country of origin: Czech Republic

Color: lighter to medium  red
Bouquet: slightly animal, hint of sour cherries, visible grape stem
Taste: medium body, sour cherries, higher tannins still slightly unsettled, medium finish
Overall score: 4+7+12+5+7=85

First sample on our blind tasting of Pinot Noir from Jaroslav Springer this wine has slightly untypical nose with grape stem being slightly disturbing.

Very interesting, it's different to previous tasting in May 2013, where the wine was not aged in the barrel.

Spielberg Ryzlink rýnský 2009 Austerlitz pozdní sběr

LOts of medals on the wine including the National Wine Salon, but the wine did not meet my expectations, however it was good to accompany our shrimp risotto:-)

Habánské sklepy Cuvée 1614 2009

Taste: medium body, small wild sour cherries, excellent acidity, fruit and all nicely combined with wood tones makes this wine very pleasant to drink, longer finish
Recommended food pairing: pork
Overall score: 4+8+12+7+7=88

Very nice wine indeed, I can only confirm my notes from September 2013. Unfortunately the wine sold out very quickly and I only managed to get one bottle:-(.

Taste: medium body, similar to nose the wine is very much fruity , sour black cherries, good acidity, nice structure, plums, medium to longer finish

Darker in color, very fruity pinot with hint of rustic and slightly animal tones, Good value for the money, still young and will i prove over 3 years for sure.
