Country of origin: Czech Republic
Wine appellation: Moravia, Mikulov sub appellation, Březí village, Liščí vrch vineyard
Vintage: 2014
Alcohol content: 12.0%
Color: apricot towards dry onion peel
Bouquet: feels heavy, butter pear, wild strawberries
Taste: medium body, pink grapefruit, granate apple, some bitterness at the end, also I feel slight residual sugar, medium finish
Overall score: 3+6+10+5+6=80
Price: CZK 200
Stopper: screw cap
The wine despite being young it does not feel crispy, I suspect botrytis was on the wine. Very different from stunning 13 vintage of the same variety from the same vineyard, which we selected for my friends wedding party.
