Variety: Shiraz Malbec
Country of origin: Argentina
Wine appellation: Mendoza
Vintage: 2008
Alcohol content: 13.0%
Color: very deep garnet red
Bouquet: spices, blackberries, coffee, overripe black cherry
Taste: medium body, similar to nose dominant is black forrest fruit, supported by black sour cherries with good acidity not making it dull, slightly front loaded with flatter mid palate medium to longer warmer finish
Recommended food pairing: steak
Overall score: 4+7+11+6+6+50=84
Price: CZK 120

Basic wine from Trivento, but sealed with cork allowing it to age perfectly. Very good price/value ratio and comparing to my tasting of 2004 vintage in October 2009 the alcohol does not present any problem.
