Very good Gewurztraminer, although not really my favorite variety I always drink this to spicy food as it goes fantastically. this is very nice, clean, no bitterness at all, sometimes common in the variety being masked by residual sugar.

I was eager to taste it as the wine is from those times when even Aussies used cork. But the smell of the cork on the cork was confirmed in the glass.  What a pitty!

From 2014 onward Vinselekt stopped putting name on the vineyard and vintage on the label. Previously you could find the same wine in Tesco to his harmony row, but CZK 40 cheaper. This is to be due to difficult 2014 vintage, where mixture of different plots and even vintages had to be done to commit the volume.

Fuller body and on sweeter side of the spectrum with lower acidity. Tasted at the same time with Gotberg, which clearly is better for me with more complexity and acidity.

The wine despite being young it does not feel crispy, I suspect botrytis was on the wine. Very different from stunning 13 vintage of the same variety from the same vineyard, which we selected for my friends wedding party.
