Tyrrell's Old Winery Pinot Noir 2003

I kind of expected the wine would be behind its zenith, but still I bought 3 bottles to check it out. Surprisingly the wine is drinkable, not at the stage to be poured to sink, yes it has quite a lot of canned fruit profile though and less acidity as one could expect.

  1. That's odd as it's a Hunter Valley company where they don't really grow Pinot and I would never think to have a Hunter wine so old. It proves the point that you can learn something new every day.
