Step up from the previous sample of SanToro both in the quality and price. Again quite heavy and brain killing wine with too much alcohol. I could be  a fan, but maybe 10 years ago, not now, am more sophisticated.

Basic pizza wine. Looking at my notes I tasted 2011 vintage in December 2013. This vintage tasted even at higher bottle maturity seems to be more balanced, but still fairly basic, not as young and harsh though.

Vinya Carles Priorat Crianza 2010 DOCa

Last year in April 2014 I tasted 2009 vintage. Looking at the tasting notes then and my current notes they are almost identical. very fruit driven, cherries, minerality, higher alcohol, the only difference is the color, this vintage is less purple. Even scoring is the same.
