Vinařství Zdeněk Peřina Ryzlink vlašský 2009 pozdní sběr

Variety: Welsh Riesling
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Wine appellation: Moravia, Mikulov sub-appellation, Perná village, Železná vineyard
Vintage: 2009
Alcohol content: 13.5%
Color: light to medium yellow
Bouquet: red apples, hint of alcohol and oxidative notes
Taste: medium body, round style, almost no acidity, apples, grapefruit, some minerality, alcohol at the end, medium to longer finish
Overall score: 4+4+8+6+4=76
Price: CZK 190
Stopper: cork
The wine is clearly behind its zenith, it is strange as the cork was soaked only 30% and it is made by the winemaker, whose wine are famous for longevity. Last year I tasted from him Kerner from the same vintage and perfectly OK, probably faulty bottle, nothing more to add. Will check if I have more bottles.
