I was so interested in this wine, we were celebrating something and it required special wine. When going through the wine fridge I discovered this Pinot Gris, which we tasted at the wine tasting with my friend about 1.5 years ago. At that time it was a winner so I was eager and interested about its development (especially after my experience with 3 bottles which started to re-ferment even in wine fridge). After opening I was truly delighted about the smell, it is so concentrated that it reminds straw wine, but it is nicely dry with excellent acidity in it and dry fruit flavor. Cool choice, the only pitty is that I think this is the last bottle I have:(

  1. Yes - it was the winner from a large selection that we had (when Zbig joined us as well). What a pity it is the last one! On a positive note, Melnik is not so far from Prague...
