Vinařství Hřiba Neronet kabinetní víno 2005

Variety: Neronet - (St Laurent x Blue Portugal) x (Alicante Bouschet x Cabernet Sauvignon). The crossing took place in 1965 in Lednice (Moravia), the breeder Prof. Ing Vilém Kraus. The species was in Germany by Hermann Jäger Ockenheim (Rheinhessen) taken and processed through breeding. The Plant Variety Protection was granted 1991st In the Czech Republic it occupies about 30 hectares of vineyards. Small stocks are also available in Germany, Austria and Hungary.

Color: deep black with garnet meniscus
Bouquet: very intense and concentrated, overripe black cherries, forest fruit mainly blackberries, canned black (totally overripe ) cherries in alcohol
Taste: light to medium body, similar to nose canned black cherries, touch of coffee liquor, fruit is accompanied by hint of residual sugar, medium finish
Recommended food pairing: chocolate

This wine brings memories as I remember when we first tasted it in Grobovka. Yesterday I went through my cellar and found 2 (!!) more bottles. I thought i had none at this point. I was positively surprised how nicely the wine developed.
