Tasting of Chardonnays: Escorihuela Gascon 1884 Chardonnay 2009 Reservado

Variety: Chardonnay
Country of origin: Argentina
Wine appellation: Mendoza
Vintage: 2009
Alcohol content: 12.9%
Color: light brown yellow (oxidated?)
Bouquet: canned pear, apples, lots of vanilla and slightly oxidative tones
Taste: medium body, canned pear, pineapple, lower acidity, baked apple, vanilla,  medium to longer  finish
Overall score: 3+6.5+10+6+5.5+50=81
Price: CZK 270
Stopper: plastic cork
Very round with lower acidity and lots of vanilla. The wine is already behind its zenith as there are visible oxidative tones in the nose, which are confirmed in taste (I guess due to plastic cork).
