Never ever in my life I tasted Arribes D.O. with their Juan Garcia variety. The wine has very special nose, lovely and gentle taste indeed. The nose is so strong after the forest strawberries, that it reminds me white Chorvat variety in Cejkovice, which is based on Vitis Labrusca (not Vitis Vinifera as is apparently Juan Garcia grape variety based on - wiki source). The taste is perfect balance between the fruit and coffee from French oak, very enjoyable and special, lacks a bit of tannins, rather elegant. It is hard to fit it in somewhere, but that is what is amazing about the wine. There is always something to be discovered.
