Ruffino Chianti 2006 DOCG

Variety: 75% Sangiovese plus other varieties  admitted by code production, such as Canaiolo and Colorino

Color: medium garnet red with bricky
Bouquet: canned cherries, wood, spices
Taste: light medium body, canned fruit, flatter in the mid palate, good acidity, almost no tannins, spices, medium finish
Recommended food pairing: lasagna
Overall score: 3+7+10+5+5=80

Stopper: cork
Very basic Chianti. It lacks proper structure in the mouth and also it looks it was not made for 7 years of aging:-). For comparison check my June 2013 notes of the same wine, but 2009 vintage.
