Protos Roble 2007

Variety: Tempranillo
Country of origin: Spain
Wine appellation: Ribera del Duero
Vintage: 2007
Alcohol content: 13.5%
Color: medium garnet red with bricky meniscus
Bouquet: cherries and strawberries marmalade, hint of coffee and spices
Taste: medium body canned sour cherries, slightly higher acidity, lower tanins, canned fruit profile with coffee, medium to longer and warmer finish
Recommended food pairing: fuet
Overall score: 3+7+11+6+5=82
Price: CZK 250
Stopper: single piece cork
Slight disappointment to me. I expected more of concentration and taste.  Tasted just after the Jaraba 2003 showed quite a difference in favor of Jaraba.
