Naturvini Chardonnay 2010

Variety: 100% Chardonnay

Country of origin: Czech Republic
Wine appellation: Moravia, Mikulov sub-appellation
Vintage: 2010
Alcohol content: 12.%
Color: medium yellow
Bouquet: very gentle, citrus fruit, orange, hint of banana
Taste: medium body, dry lemon crust, very good acidity, nice minerality, feels like it has very slight residual sugar to balance quite high acidity so typical of 2010 vintage, medium to longer finish
Recommended food pairing: pork
Overall score: 4+6+10+6+5+50=81
Price: CZK 150
Stopper: single piece cork
Comparing to Welsh Riesling tasted in December 2013 from the same winery and vintage this Chardonnay is not as good as that. It is quite neutral in the nose and gentle less tropical in the mouth.
