Tasting of Malbec - Baudron Malbec 2007

Color: darker garnet red
Bouquet: very jammy, spices and hint of coffee
Taste: medium body, smooth, very gentle and with almost no tannins, canned plums and black cherries, lower acidity, lower tannins, at the end hint of pomegranate,  medium finish
Overall score: 4+7+11+5+6=83
Price: CZK 159
Stopper: plastic cork
Malbec at the peak of bottle maturity. We had it before official tasting as the welcome drink. Major characteristics both in the nose and taste is canned or jammed fruit without underlying tannins and structure. Marketa very much liked it:-)
