Jean-Philippe Janoueix 20 mille Bordeaux 2007 AOC

Variety: Merlot

Country of origin: France
Wine appellation: Bordeaux,
Alcohol content: 13.5%
Color: medium to darker garnet red
Bouquet: very expressive, coffee, cigar box, toast, canned sour cherries
Taste: medium body, nicely layered coffee, spices, canned cherries, complemented with stunning mouth watering tannins, good acidity, very dry though, longer finish, slightly less than the nose would suggest though (in relative terms of course:-) as the taste is superb)
Overall score: 4+9+13+7+8=90
Price: CZK 1099
Stopper: single piece cork
Stunning Bordeaux, excellent nose, bone dry, huge coffee, toast, no vanilla, fruit in transformed form, perfect tannins. I stored it from 2010 and it still has 2-3 years to go.
