Stopper: plastic cork
Despite being sealed with plastic cork the wine is amazing. I found the whole case in my wine cellar and my mood shot off to the ceiling after tasting this Pinot. I tasted recently very very nice pinots so when looking at the score I thought I was too generous, but I was not. The wine is very good and one cannot get that you open New world wines sealed under plastic cork from 2005 and majority of them is gone and this is in perfect conditions. It is simple: as much I love Welsh Riesling from Mikulov I love Pinot Noir from Velke Pavlovice. You can check the Pinot from the same producer and same vineyard from 2008 vintage tasted one month ago and in January 2012 and 2009 vintage tasted in November 2012. You can also compare it to legendary 2005 Pinot from different vineyard tasted in October 2011, which was declassified from so called adjective system due to high alcohol, but which was (as far as I remember) fantastic.
