Country of origin: Spain
Wine appellation: Navarra
Vintage: 2008
Alcohol content: 13.0%
Color: medium garnet red
Bouquet: cherries, tobacco, oak, spices
Taste medium body, sour cherries, good acidity, fruit is  nicely combined with spiciness, and oak, medium finish
Recommended food pairing: fuet
Overall score: 4+8+12+5+6=85
Price: CZK 130
Stopper: screw cap
It needed 3 hours to show up. It is still very young, but it is very old world style even though it s predominately fruity wine. The fruit is more subtle and less alcoholic and jammy, the oak is less vanilla and more spicy. Just before opening this Crianza I opened from the same winery Reserva 2003. Unfortunately the bottle was heavily corked. So one can appreciate the screw cap stopper. Very good value wine.
