Vintage: 2009
Alcohol content: 13.0%
Color: light garnet red with bricky meniscus
Bouquet: quite expressive and gentle at the same time, wild forest fruit strawberries, cranberries
Taste: medium body, similar to nose, wild small forest strawberries accompanied by very nice acidity of small wild sour cherries, both supported by cranberries mid profile and dry orange crust or pomegranate finish with very pleasant tannins, medium to longer nicely lingering finish
Recommended food pairing: game food
Overall score: 4+7+11+6+7=85
Price: CZK 190
Stopper: single piece cork
Very good example of unoaked pinot, this should have been matured in barrel, at least some part of it. This would add further complexity into already nice wild fruit profile.
