Variety: Malbec

Country of origin: Argentina
Wine appellation: Mendoza
Vintage: 2004
Alcohol content: 13.5%
Color: medium ruby red
Bouquet: canned black cherries, plums, hint of coffee and chocolate
Taste: medium body, smooth, round, similar to nose canned cherries, supported by plum cake at the end sour cherries covered in black chocolate with infusion of alcohol, medium to longer finish
Overall score: 4+7+12+5+6=84

Malbec in peak state of bottle maturity combining nice fruit, oak and still good acidity. Alcohol feels slightly higher than declared, needs slightly more chilling than mine 19°C.
