Vina Berceo Crianza 2003 DOCa

Variety: Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo
Country of origin: Spain
Wine appellation: Rioja
Vintage: 2003
Alcohol content: 13.0%
Color: medium red
Bouquet: cherries, hint of spices
Taste: medium body, cherries, sour cherries, hint of vanilla, a bit of unbalanced tannin
Recommended food pairing: BBQ
Overall score: 82
Stopper: cork
This was the fifth sample and another "cheating" as it is Crianza not Reserva, so it was disqualified after the bottle was revelead. This contrary to Castillo de Vagos was just standard Crianza, nothing exciting.
