This was the winner of the tasting, however I scored it less than San Giusto a Rentennano Chianti Classico 2007 DOCG because it was more on fruitier side then the Chianti. This Sangiovese is very nice example of excellent value wine. It has a rich berry flavor that is very smooth and drinkable.
