Must was fermented for 12 days between 25-27C, followed by 10 to 15 days post-fermentation maceration. All wine was aged for 8 months in one-year old French oak barrels. Bottled in December 2004.
This is VERY nice example of quasi Bordeaux blend. It has nice aged tones of coffee, canned black currant and cherries marmalade. it is soft rounded, spicy and smooth. Surprisingly I gave this wine as as pressie about 2 years ago to my neighbor and she just brought it up to check this out:) What nice of her(actually she was not aware how nice the wine was:)).
How lucky your neighbour is!
