When we poured the wine it was a bit of surprise as the wine has almost no color, it is very pale and  almost watery. The same happened in the nose where I would expect more typical warm climate tropical tones. On the contrary it was complete opposite. Immediately the nose buds were attacked by green grass, nettles, green belly peppers and lime. All this was followed by kind of smokiness, detectable at the end and slightly. The taste is very dry with white currant and gooseberry, accompanied by vibrant lime acidity. Surprisingly this wine is more similar to northern European regions typical with cool climate more than warm South Africa. It could be driven by the location in South Africa, which differs by the influence of ocean currants and breeze. This wine will be excellent in hot summer day nicely chilled with fish:)
